You must use a mop with detergent and water and utilize acidic cleaners to eliminate residue. The right sealer should prevent discoloration of the grout lines, but scrubbing, dusting and mopping are still necessary. To clean grout lines, use a toothbrush and a dense solution of bicarb soda and water. Apply it, brush it, leave it overnight and remove it with a wet cloth.
Vinyl
Vinyl can emulate many other flooring types at a much lower price and withstand a lot of wear and tear. However, moisture is the number one enemy of vinyl floors. Never let spills sit for long. Wipe all moisture off completely with a smooth, non-abrasive wipe to avoid damaging the lamination as well as the adhesive of the vinyl.
